SMALL SCALE 7250 TRIAL TO COMPARE LITSEA CUBEBA to HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA 

In respective astringent properties and their comparative and accumulative effects on lessening skin sebum oil content and pore size on canine skin.

 

SMALL 7250 TRIAL: ZINC OXIDE AS A BARRIER CREAM IN COMPARISON TO WHEAT GERM OIL ON EQUINE SKIN 

Measuring trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL)and barrier function duration of zinc oxide and wheatgerm oil

 

GATTON UQ CANINE DERMATITIS PROJECT

Red Healer are currently working with investigators at Gatton UQ to organise a summer 2022-2023 60 dog Clinical Trial on a future Canine Dermatitis Topical product

 

SMALL SCALE 7250 EQUINE FEED TRIAL 

We are currently investigating a common plant-leaf food supplement’s potential to stop insects biting horses thereby preventing the allergenic / inflammatory cascade of Equine IBH at the onset

 

SMALL 7250 TRIAL TO DETERMINE EXFOLIENT ABILITY OF OATS AVENA SATIVA IN COMPARISON TO SALICYLIC ACID 

Quantifying the exfoliating and sebaceous oil cleansing characteristics of oats on canine skin hyperkeratosis

 

WOMBAT MANGE PROJECT

Preliminary trials have been very promising, and approval has been given for the trial to start by the Tasmanian AEC, the APVMA and DPIPWE.

Update: A major Australian feed company has recently developed a standalone - no moving parts - bush applicator for the trial which is currently being tested.

ALPACA MANGE PROJECT- INTERNATIONAL 

A natural topical product is being trialled on Alpaca Mange overseas (Oral acaricides have some difficulty permeating and circulating in thick hide/ skin extremities leaving an opportunity for an effective topical product)

 

GATTON UQ EQUINE IBH PROJECT 

This successful trial was peer reviewed and published in the 2018 Australian Veterinary Journal
